Landscape on Wood

Here’s a little landscape illustration I made on wood using Posca & Prismacolor markers and some gloss varnish spatters. This was a fun experimental project to work on for the heck of it. I used to make art on wood using spray paint and cutout shapes but havent done that in a long time. This is a kind of a melding of my old process and new process. Im thinking about doing another one that pushes things even further. It's always fun to get back into analog art making. I love my digital tools, but I also love my analog tools too!

PS: I really want to play around with neon markers and glow in the dark paints... that sounds so fun!

PSS: I think this would be freakin' awesome as a wall mural!

Below are a couple progress shots.
