After discovering my portfolio of work, Swarthmore College reached out to me to see if I'd be interested in illustrating 3 editorial spreads for an article in their upcoming Swarthmore College Bulletin. What attracted them to my work was my use of allegorical humor, lightness and fun; all of which paired nicely with the article, which spoke about community, inclusion and joy.

After discussing the project goals in detail, I jumped into the concept phase and provided rough sketches for layout, style and tone as well as a recommended color palette. A few revisions later, we landed on a good style that fit the tone of the article. From there, I provided the full-color illustrations and the Bulletin was off to print!

The final printed Bulletin turned out great and the illustrated article stands apart from the rest with it's use of color, illustration and joy.
