David contacted me after finding my work on The Coding Train. He was looking for some simple branding for his startup software company. What he wanted to do was create a company based on an old screen name "Scienceboy" and wanted to have an illustration of a kid in a lab plus some branding that he could use to share his ideas and tell his story. This sounded like a perfect fit and after some back and forth conversation, I jumped into the creation process.
In the end, I created a logo, character and scene illustrations, plus additional designs that could be used for swag and web applications.
